How We Use AI

AI Provider

We use OpenAI's GPT-4o-mini model for all AI-powered features. This includes typing analysis, grammar coaching, resume feedback, reading speed insights, and writing tone analysis.

What AI Sees

Your tool results (WPM, accuracy, scores) — not your account info
Text you paste into resume/grammar/tone tools — sent only when you click "Analyze"
We never send your email, name, or password to any AI service

AI Data Retention

OpenAI does not use data sent via API for training. Your text is processed and discarded. We do not store the full AI responses — only that you used the feature (for usage tracking).

AI Limitations

AI suggestions are guidance, not guarantees. Resume feedback doesn't guarantee interviews.
AI may occasionally produce inaccurate advice — always use your judgment.
Typing/focus coaching is based on research but personalized to your specific results.

Your Data

Hosted on Cloudflare

Your data is stored on Cloudflare D1 (SQLite), distributed globally for speed. Cloudflare provides enterprise-grade security, DDoS protection, and WAF.

Passwords Secured

Passwords are hashed with PBKDF2 + random salt. We never store plaintext passwords. Sessions use secure, HttpOnly cookies.

No Data Selling

We never sell your data to third parties. Your typing scores, grammar checks, and resume content are yours.

Data Deletion

Infrastructure & Reliability

Global Edge Network — Deployed on Cloudflare's global network (300+ cities). Your requests hit the nearest server for fastest response.

HTTPS Everywhere — All traffic is encrypted with TLS 1.3. HSTS enforced.

High Availability — Cloudflare Workers have built-in redundancy. If one edge node fails, traffic routes to the next closest. We target high availability but do not guarantee a specific SLA percentage at this time.

Modern Stack — Built with Hono (TypeScript), Vite, Cloudflare Workers, D1 Database, and Tailwind CSS.

Incident Response

In the event of a data breach or security incident, we commit to: (1) investigating within 24 hours of detection, (2) notifying affected users within 72 hours if personal data was exposed, (3) publishing a post-mortem on our System Information page. We follow NIST SP 800-61 incident handling guidelines.
